About SecretSig

Why this exists.

AI tools are genuinely powerful. Most people aren't getting that power because every session starts from zero. The AI doesn't know who you are, how you think, what you're working on, or what frustrates you. So you explain it again. And again. And again.

Every major platform knows this is a problem. Their solution is to store your profile in their system — their database, their servers, their terms of service. You get the benefit as long as you keep paying, keep using their platform, and trust that they won't change the terms.

"What if the answer was simpler than that?"

A plain text file. Readable by you. Editable by you. Stored wherever you want — your email, your hard drive, your cloud storage. Paste it at the start of any AI session and the AI reads it. That's it.

SecretSig is not a platform. It's a format. An open, human-readable format for telling any AI who you are and how you work. No account required. No subscription. No vendor lock-in. The file is yours permanently.

The principles we won't compromise on.

No hidden state
Everything that affects AI behavior is visible in the file. If you can't read it, it's not in there.
No platform dependency
Your SecretSig works with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and any AI that's ever built. It's a text file. Text files don't expire.
No data capture by default
We generate your SecretSig in your browser. We don't store it. We don't see it. It goes directly to you.
The file belongs to you
Not to us. Not to the AI platform. Not to anyone else. You own it, you edit it, you share it on your terms.

It grows with you.

Most people start with the quick quiz — seven questions, two minutes, a working SecretSig. That's enough to get meaningfully better results immediately.

Over time it becomes more. A work history. A project log. A portable record of what you've built and thought. Give any AI your SecretSig and its archive and ask for a resume — it's already in there.

The decay system keeps it lean. Active items get review dates. When things are done they move to stable. When they're no longer relevant they archive. The document stays current without becoming a junk drawer.

Who built this.

SecretSig was designed by someone who spent a long Saturday realizing that the biggest obstacle to getting good results from AI wasn't the AI — it was the cold start problem. Every session, a stranger. Every session, the same explanation.

The solution turned out to be embarrassingly simple. A file. A format. A ritual at the end of each session: "Show me how you'd update my SecretSig." Yes or no. Save it. Done.

That's the whole product. We built a generator to help you create the file. Everything else is just text.
